The once vibrant ,energetic and seemingly unstoppable Eric Rose was TKO'ed by a vicious and unforgiving Life last night. In a fight that was one sided for the first 34 rounds, Rose punished Life with unpresidented jabs and upercuts. For those of us in attendance it was almost unwatchable to see the beating Rose gave Life in rounds 32-34. Rose attacked with a barrage of furious over handed rights followed by left handed counter punches and absolute lung collapsing blows to the body that left Life on the canvas 5 times over a three round span. This seemed to drain Rose of any and all reserve energy as his once mighty Thor like gusto appeared to be depleting swiftly. Life roared back in round 35 for the first tome in the fight and floored Rose twice and stopped the fight 3 times for cuts over Roses right eye which Dr.Tony Montana deemed Rose well enough to continue. That was really the end for Rose as he never returned to the raging buck form that he once was. For the next Three rounds Life punished Rose mercilessly to the point that Rose couldn't even raise his gloves in protection for the final Two rounds. The fight was finally stopped by Referee Louie Rocco in the 38th round following a disgustingly bloody onslaught that saw Rose lose his mouth piece 4 times, Rose was completely dead on his feet and unable to field questions after the stoppage. This returns a brutal Life his once glorious heavy weight championship crown as we watched what we all thought was an unbeatable Eric Rose fall to the mighty unforgiving sword of Life.
